Download FirstClass Client to your
Computer
If you use FirstClass at home or on a laptop computer frequently, it may be
easier for you to install the client instead of using the web access.
Complete download and install instructions.
FirstClass Directory/Spam
You cannot use the "@sau16.org" address in your FirstClass directory for
anyone that is internal to SAU 16 and therefore already on the directory. This
function is disabled to assist with spam control.

Changing Reply-All Default Setting
Have you ever replied to an email only to find that you have sent a
message to 20, 30, or a hundred other people by accident? This problem
is created when a message is sent to a group of people and then one
recipient replies to the entire group. You can avoid this problem by
deleting all of the addresses from the To address box after creating a
reply. However, there is a way to configure FirstClass so that it will
reply only to the sender and not the entire group by default.

Preferences
Directing e-mail to another e-mail Account
You can set your preferences to automatically direct your e-mail to
another account. If you want to do this on a regular basis and
only check another account, your FirstClass account may automatically
disable after 90 days because of inactivity. You must physically check
your FirstClass Mailbox at least every 90 days to prevent this from
happening.

Changing Junk-Mail Handling Setting
Certain E-mail hosts encode their mail
in a way that FirstClass treats it as Junk Mail. The FirstClass
default preference is to "silently delete" junk mail so you never even
know that someone was trying to send you an e-mail. You should
change your junk mail handling default in your FirstClass preferences.
Instructions to Change Junk Mail Handling
Preference
Once you start receiving junk mail, you can establish rules to
handle certain ones. They can be automatically deleted,
rejected, moved to a certain folder, etc. based on words, sender
e-mail, etc.
