Finance Sub-Committee Meeting

Board:    Ray Trueman, Jennifer Maher, Barbara Collins, Tomasen Carey, David Miller, Kate Segal

 

Administration:     Arthur Hanson, Tom O’Malley, Tony Baldasaro, Bill Perkins, Victor Sokul, Nathan Lunney, Walter Pierce

 

 

Nathan issued a draft audit report and indicated that the only adverse opinion was the non-compliance with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).  Nathan explained that we have been working towards compliance for the past 5 years and should be in compliance by mid-year.

 

Nathan indicated that he will place on the Website the final report once it is available.

 

Patty Lovejoy discussed the $2000 award to CMS for receiving the EDies Outstanding Middle School of the Year Award.  The check from the EDies would be deposited as revenue and Patty motioned to “encumber” this amount from surplus.  Seconded by David Miller and unanimously voted to request that the full board support this.
