ERCSD Communications Committee Meeting

1.   Status of CMS & EHS Surveys – Skip noted that the EHS & CMS Parent Surveys were sent out by the UNH Survey Center on Monday, May 12, 2008 and the expected return to the board will be mid-June.

 

2.   Addition of PODS at CMS – A long discussion took place regarding the additional PODS and upgrading the cafeteria with many divergent points of view. Discussion took place about finding another site for the 6 grade students, adding 8^th grade to GBeCS.  It was determine that the best way to proceed is to have the chair appointment a committee of citizens, teachers, administrators and school board representatives to study this issue and report back to the full board.  This item will be placed on the ERCSD Retreat Agenda

 

3.      From the Floor – Conversation took place regarding how to have parent conferences for the middle school.  Mr. O’Malley and his administration will present to the board at the ERCSD Retreat recommendations on how this might be accomplished.
