The SAU school districts are committed to working together to achieve common standards and values that will result in graduates who are caring, productive, and contributing members of society.
Each curriculum committee is facilitated by either an administrator
or a curriculum director. In some instances, there are co-facilitators.
Minutes of meetings are submitted to the SAU Central Office, and are
placed in a notebook for anyone who is interested in reading them. These
minutes are also distributed to the two curriculum directors at the Coop
and are available to all administrators upon request. Each school in the
SAU has a teacher representative on every committee who can act as a
resource to colleagues in his/her building. Some committees meet
monthly, while others meet every other month or quarterly. Most of these
meetings occur after school, but some do meet for a full or half day on
occasion.
