Technology Donations

SAU 16 is pleased to receive donations of computer equipment. The computers will be rehabilitated by school staff and volunteers for reuse within the schools and offices of SAU 16. Each year, many thousands of computers are discarded nationwide. Some have clearly outlived their practical usefulness, but others can be renovated and put back into use. Such programs reduce waste and extend technology resources. We also need to make sure equipment is compatible with our network, hardware and software and fits in with our long-range plans and available resources.

NOTE: Not all computers will be accepted in this program. Minimum specifications for computer donations are listed below. Arrangements for donations, questions, suggestions, leads for available computers should be directed to:

not accepted unless quite new or included with other useful donations
