The SAU school districts are committed to working together to achieve common standards and values that will result in graduates who are caring, productive, and contributing members of society.
On November 17, 2005 the Guidance Department will sponsor a Financial
Aid Night Seminar at 6:30 PM in the Science Lecture Hall of Exeter High
School. At that time Michael Spillane, Financial Aid Officer from the
University of New Hampshire will speak on how to complete the FAFSA and
what information to expect on the Student Aid Report that is returned to
you. The FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, will be
available in the Guidance Office for seniors applying for financial aid
for college before the Christmas break. Students and parents can also
submit their application via the internet by accessing the following
website: www.fafsa.ed.gov. The FAFSA should be completed and sent as
soon as possible in the month of January to satisfy the many February
deadlines in financial aid. The Profile is also a financial aid process
that some colleges require in addition to the FAFSA. Profile
registrations are ongoing since September, 2005.
