Induct Officers at SST
178 Students Participate in Induction Ceremonies
for Eight Career & Technical Student Organizations
178 students were formally inducted into a variety of leadership positions at
ceremonies held recently at the Seacoast School of Technology in Exeter.
Members from eight Career & Technical Student Organizations officially
assumed their duties as officers and received certificates from their chapter
advisors. Career and Technical Student Organizations at SST include:
- FFA – The
National FFA Organization
- DECA – An Organization of Marketing Education Students
- FCCLA – Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America
- HOSA – Health Occupations Students of America
- SkillsUSA – Vocational Industrial Clubs of America
- NHSEE – NH Science & Engineering Exposition
- ACM – Association for Computing Machinery
- AWS – American Welding Society
All first year SST students attended the Induction Ceremony and heard
comments on leadership and service from SST Principal Mrs. Nancy Pierce. SST
Automotive teacher and SkillsUSA advisor Scott Jamieson described the history
of each CTSO and presided over the presentation of banners.
