Curtains on Fire is a multimedia/performing comedy troupe, emulating such shows as “Saturday Night Live,” and “SCTV.” It is a group of teen comedy performers from Exeter High School. They have developed a sketch comedy show with a contemporary flair, integrating video and television into the theatrical experience. COF develops all of its stage material through improvisation and group brainstorming, making for a unique, spontaneous atmosphere unlike any other. Every scene is a collaborative experiment in improvisation. In addition to live comedic and musical performances, the evening features original films by aspiring local filmmakers. Commercial parodies, short films, and a mockumentary will be showcased, most of them premiering for the first time. The Summer 2004 performance is Friday August 20th and Saturday August 21st at 7:30 at the Thomas G. Meehan Performing Arts Center at the Cooperative Middle School in Stratham, NH.
