1. 2. Respect - demonstration of acknowledgement, regard, esteem, honor, consideration, courtesy, friendship; valuing an idea, another person, a group, an institution, a nation, a cultural tradition, an environment, shared values, and oneself
3. Responsibility - behaviors that indicate an awareness of one's personal honor, duty, and accountability to self and others; taking care of someone or something in a reliable manner; recognizing need in oneself or another and acting to address it in a healthy way; discharging obligations even when it might be easier to avoid or postpone attention to them; fulfilling one's civic duties and environmental stewardship; looking out for the well-being of children, peers, elders, others who need support; being a person of one's word
4. Resolve - ability to commit to considered action in order to accomplish a worthy goal; ability to say no to harmful choices and say yes to life, love, achievement, health, and excellence in any arena, based upon a positive vision of self and society in the future.
