Exeter High School Math teachers Michelle Morton and Kathleen Parent are hosting guest speakers from our community to help students understand how they will actually use many math skills in the future. Session 1 was September 29, 2003 with Cindy Vandewater, CPA, CFP of Vandewater & Boucher Financial Services in North Hampton, NH and Nancy Rugora, EA of Abacus Associates, LLC in Newmarket NH. Much of their presentation was geared directly to the students concerning financial planning and credit card perils.
The second session for 2003-04 was Chris Seusing of NHHEAF (New Hampshire Higher Education Planning and Funding) in Concord, NH. He spoke on using math in the college admissions and financial aid process.
